This part of my site used to be
dedicated to estate and gift taxes. Unfortunately, our bumbling lawmakers have
made planning in this area nearly impossible. They did this by the ingenious yet
devious concept they call "Sunset Provisions." In other words, most of
the tax breaks our leaders have recently bestowed upon us are scheduled to
expire in the year 2011. Odd as it sounds, the repeal of the Estate Tax will
automatically be repealed by the "Sunset Provisions."
Everything I said about estate taxes last year is out of date this year. And the
same would be true next year...until 2011, or whenever the politicians see fit
to make new promises. In frustration, I have deleted my thoughts and suggestions
with regard to estate and gift taxes.
So until there is more clarity in the law, I will devote this part of my site to
my other passion. You see, when I'm not working on your taxes I'm usually
working out.
The words for these sagas
usually come to me when I'm out training for the long run. Perhaps you will
think I've been running a bit too long? In any event, these stories are not as
boring as you might expect. You may enjoy them even if you are not a
runner.

November 2003
Masullo borrows a little attitude from Eminem, but it's not enough to catch up
to Puff Daddy at the November 2003 NYC Marathon.

September 2002 Three races in three weeks along the Hudson River in Lower Manhattan. In
these three weeks I ran my fastest and slowest races of the year, told stories
about the Mafia, flirted with female members of the armed forces, went to booty
camp, and otherwise had a great time.
